Big Shoes to Fill
Stepping into the shoes of the iconic Beehive Saloon after its closure was no small task—it was a responsibility we didn’t take lightly. Owner Jason Harlow and managing partner Brook Hatchett made it their mission to ensure Goodnight’s Steakhouse would be just as legendary.
Through dedication to quality, an incredible team of employees, and a commitment to serving the best mesquite-grilled steaks in the state, we hope we not only filled those big shoes—we have made our own.

Charles Goodnight
Charles Goodnight was a legendary Texas cattleman, trailblazer, and pioneer who played a vital role in shaping the American West. Known as the "Father of the Texas Panhandle," he co-founded the Goodnight-Loving Trail, which passed through the historic Fort Griffin area—where our private Fort Griffin Room once stood before being relocated to our steakhouse. We named Goodnight Steakhouse in his honor to pay tribute to his legacy of resilience, innovation, and Western spirit. Just as Goodnight set the standard for excellence on the open range, we strive to uphold that same standard by serving the finest mesquite-grilled steaks and providing true Texas hospitality.
